Make sure that the capacity of the adapter satisfies the camera's power consumption sufficiently.
Also check that the polarity of the input voltage is correct.
The power adapter must be KC-certified. If you do not have any problems after checking the adapter, cable and camera, please contact KT&C Sales staffs.

Make sure that the camera and monitor are turned on.
If there is no problem with the power on the camera and monitor, make sure that the video connectors on both sides of the camera is properly connected.
In recent years, there are products with various video transmission methods such as AHD, TVI, CVI, HD-SDI, and EX-SDI, so make sure that cameras and recorders are compatible each other.
Please check that the lens type used and the lens type setting of the camera may not match.
Adjust the brightness of the camera setting.
Check the camera's shutter speed setting. If it is set to manual, change it to auto mode.
For auto iris lenses, make sure the aperture is opening up properly.
Adjust the brightness of the monitor.
Make sure that there is no power or equipment that can cause noise around the camera cable. You can also use a noise filter to block power noise.
Try adjusting the focus on the object you want to focus on.
If the focus remains out of focus even after the focus adjustment, it may be defective. Contact the KT&C sales staffs.

The camera utilizes visible light during the daytime and infrared LED light at night to display images. Because the focus point under visible light rays and infrared is different, it is recommended to use a camera with IR corrected lens or filter to offset the difference.
If you use a lens with no iris control, adjust the viewing angle so that strong light sources do not come directly into the lens. It may cause flicker when the sunlight, fluorescent light, etc. are strong.
This may caused by infrared light reflecting from the case of a camera or other reflective surfaces. First, check to see if it's cuased from camera housing or bubble scratches by removing the dome cover.
For general CCTV box cameras, you should use either C mount or CS mount lens according to its mounting thread. If the mounting thread and the lens type is different, you may not get a properly focused image due to inappropriate back-focus.
Blurred image may be caused due to dirt on the lens surface. Clean the lens with a clean cloth.
Make sure that the voltage of the power adapter is beyond camera's input voltage range.
Make sure that the power source's capacity is higher than the camera's maximum power consumption specification when operating the infrared LED. Also, if the power cable is extended, the voltage may drop and cause an operation failure.
When motorized lens camera is switching between day and night, auto focus may not function properly due to light environment, infrared light reflection, the scene of the image while switching, It's recommended to use the camera that does not change its focus while switching from/to day/night with IR corrective lense.
Depending on the switch, certain ports may not support PoE. Check if the connected port supports PoE. If the port supports PoE, make sure that the power consumption supported by the PoE port meets the camera power specifications.
The PoE power supply has the following specifications.
1. PoE (IEEE802.af): Up to 15.4W per port
2. PoE + (IEEE802.at): Up to 30.0W per port
Refer to the product manual and perform the factory reset procedure using the RESET button.
IP Camera camera quality degradation should be dignosed first by either transmission delay or bad decoding unless the camera itself is defective.
1. Transmission delay is generally caused by the network environment.
Transmission delay should be tested on its configuration and performance of transmission devices such as network cables, switches, and routers.
Set the camera's transmission setting (Bitrate) and compression setting (resolution, FPS) within the allowable range, and then recheck the image.
2. Bad decoding is caused even with proper configuration of the network environment.
The decoding device (PC, NVR, DECODER) checks its performance level. (codec / concurrent decoding performance etc.).
CAUTION: The quality degradation problem is caused by various factors, so we recommend the design / installation / maintenance by a professional company."
If the camera cannot be detected by the IP installer software, please check the following.
1. Please turn off Windows Firewall. (Choose Control Panel> Windows Firewall> Turn Windows Firewall on or off)
2. Please search after disabling the anti-virus program and firewall.
3. It's possible that the IP camera is not detected when it's malfunctioning. However, if the same problem occurs in many products, it is likely that the network environment of your PC may be the cause.
Note: IP Installer is a Windows-based program that operates on protocols that can communicate only on LAN. Check the IP address scheme of the PC and the cameras and make sure they are set properly in the same LAN.
